Mushroom pate with carrots and cheese
Ingredients:
– carrots 150 g
– mushrooms 200 g
– processed cheese 100 g
– onion 1 pc
– butter 25 g
– vegetable oil 40 ml
– ground paprika – 1/2 tsp
– coriander and other spices to taste
– salt to taste
Preparation:
1. Peel the carrots and onions, cut into rings.
2. Mushrooms cut into thin slices.
3. Fry the carrot rings in vegetable oil for 2 minutes on each side.
4. Then add the onion and mushrooms to the carrots.
5. Fry the vegetables and mushrooms over high heat, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.
6. Season with salt and spices and fry for another 5 minutes, stirring.
7. Let cool and then grind in a blender to a paste, adding chopped processed cheese and butter.
8. Put in the fridge. Serve with toast or as a pancake filling.
